About the forums

To help build collaboration and cooperation among libraries using QuestionPoint, a number of private discussion forums are available from the OCLC Community site.

Through your active participation in these forums, you gain insight to help your own library manage its reference services, while helping the larger reference community discover more about its overall needs, concerns, and challenges.

We hope you join the various forums and experience an immediate benefit from your participation.

Tips for getting started

Username:

  • Usernames may be more than one word and include spaces. (For example, your full name.)

Passwords:

Browsers:

  • If you use a browser other than Internet Explorer (IE), you may experience some minor formatting inconsistencies. If you use a non-IE browser, do not insert any emoticons (smiley faces) into your message. Clicking one of them erases any text that you have already typed.
  • Please report any other errors you encounter to the QuestionPoint forums administrator.

Posting:

  • Jump right in and start new topics, or respond to existing threads, in any of our QuestionPoint forums.
  • No one pre-approves any of the posts made by the community members.
  • Designated forum moderators may occasionally intervene to keep things on track; but, during most discussions, you should not expect to see postings from them.
